FW 1.65: Free EverFocus DDNS Service

Firmware version 1.65 supports the new free EverFocus DDNS service. It is possible to

create a DDNS account directly from DVR. The name structure is

[name].everfocusddns.com

Select in MENU > NETWORK > DDNS

• Select EverFocus DDNS service

• Enter in DVR Name the desired name for the IP adress:

Example: myrecorder > the DVR will create an account with the IP-adress

myrecorder.everfocusddns.com

• Press SELECT to check availability of name:

• The reponse "Name exists" means, the name is already registred for another DVR.

• The message "SUCCESS" shows, that the selected name was available, the

account is registred now.

Note : The using of DDNS requires correct setting of IP basic setting incl. IP-address,

subnet mask, gateway and DNS server!

Availability of names may also be checked in the internet under www.everfocusddns.com.
